Victoria Canada

In August we took a trip to Victoria Canada. We left Ian at Brad's sisters for about 5 days. It was fun to spend some alone time but hard to be away from our little boy. We did a lot of site seeing: light houses, a mansion, the bay, a ferry ride across the ocean, the famous Pike's Place Market in Seattle and our favorite- The Buchart Gardens. The Second Picture is of the sunken garden. It used to be an old rock quary. It was so beautiful! I never thought that I would spend $25/ person to walk through a garden and actually say it was worth every penny.

It wasn't long after Ian was walking that he started going down the twisty slide all by himself. The first time he went down all by himself he did it five times in a row. Luckily I was quick to get the camera but unfortunately it was dusk and the lighting wasn't the greatest.

Liberty Park

It's not often we get to spend a whole day with DAD. One Saturday we biked to Liberty Park. Ian and Brad sure enjoyed the time together.

Ian's 1st Birthday

Ian turned ONE on June 7th. We threw him a party and he Loved the CUPCAKE.

Sorry it has been so long since we've updated you all on our happenings. Brad is still enjoying school and Ian is growing up sooooooo fast that I can hardly believe 9 months have pasted. Here is Ian demonstrating his latest accomplishment.... Standing! He thinks that he is so big!
