Missing DAD

Since November Brad has been gone here and there for interviews for residency programs. While he was gone I hung up a map on our kitchen wall so that I could show the kids where daddy is when he would call at night. We put stickers on the map showing all the cities he interviewed at. The yellow stickies are the places in order of our preference. The top three are Norfolk Virgina, Columbia South Carolina, and Chattanooga Tennessee. sp? In February Brad left to Texas for 3 1/2 weeks to do training for the military. We have been lucky to hear from him every night. And the Kids enjoy talking with him and miss him bad. Ian tells people his dad is playing army, and told Brad on the phone he wishes he could play trains (something him and his dad do quite often together). Ainsley has even pointed to the map and said dada and has called a few men in the ward dada. This week has been exciting for us. Monday we found out we matched which is a relief to me since I would have had to fill in for Brad since he was gone. Thursday at 10am we find out where we are going! I'm so excited but sad that Brad won't be there to share the experience. We miss you Babe! Thanks for all you do for us.

Funny Kids- Anatomy, A little Help, True Friends,Funny Sister, and Island Boy

After bath we always brush our teeth. After brushing Ian's and Ainsley's I brushed my own and went in to put the kids to bed and died when I found this... Ian was telling Ainsley all sorts of stuff. Then I had a thought... If I do really good teaching the first kid maybe the info will just all trickle down... Well it was a nice thoughts- notice the heart is upside-down.

A little help-
After church I put ainsley to bed and walked in to the kitchen where a patient little boy awaited assistance- after all he could do.

All but in the cup.

Your not true friends until you do everything together- and I mean everything.

Ainsley LOVES the FOURWheeler- does this count as Four eye?

While driving to Idaho I turned to check and see if Ainsley was sleeping. Nope. But did you know neck pillows are the latest hair trend... I mean this totally out does the huge flowers. And yes she did it herself.

Ians response to "go get your swimming suit on for lessons."
Ian has the imagination to turn anything into a toy- here he shows alternative uses for hair bands.

Oh yes please send money. My Boy is starving. hahaha

Christmas Dressy 2009

HAIR- A New Experience with a girl

September- whooo hooo the "more rubber band than hair"

October 1st - the "low double pony"

October 23- the "Bug" pony tails.

December- The "My nap was Good" Hair

Swimming Lessons

Ian and Ainsley have been taking swimming lessons. These pictures are from October but they are fun. Ainsley is now floating by herself and Ian loves doing the dolphin swim and when feeling brave or bribed by a chocolate bar jumping off the diving board. Brads parent came down to see them swim and they loved showing off their new skills. Thanks Gma &Gpa Bishop!

Christmas Decorating

So I was babysitting- and it was december- and this is what I found... When I asked Ian what he was doing he simply stated..."We're decorating!" I had to capture the moment. Thank heavens it was stickers and not markers or something.

First Snowman of 2009

Ian and I got out while Ainsley was napping. He wanted to build a snowman. Ian just makes me laugh. Enjoy!

Halloween

We love dressing up with the Kids. They enjoy seeing mom and dad have fun too.
Bradley decided to be Woody. He has quite the artsy side and if you can believe it made the vest himself. Go BRAD!

Pumpkins are more fun with Eyes- Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of them glowing but they were awesome.

I love fall and this picture turned out awesome. May be I learned a thing or to from my community photo class.
